Photograph taken by Bill Daniel, in San Francisco, September, 1993. The older I get the younger Colossus looks. Colossus in phantasy, nobody in reality.
The missus is down in her back, so I had dinner at The Southfork Truckstop, subsequent to announcing the intent in captions to the icon, "Thanksgiving at Southfork", on about 5 cars. Thanks irrelephant!
I'll be watching for one of those five, buz. Chances I'll see one? Too great to imagine, but hope springs eternal, right? Here's hoping Mrs. buz is upright and healthy soonest. I know back pain--ye gods. Give her our love.
Location: Surrealville, Principality of buZ, United States
I'm a retired railroad man who indulged in the folk art tradition of making chalk drawings on the railcars as an announcement of presence, and diversion from boredom. Although against the rules of the railroad, it was a common enough practice by the employees and hobos, by ignoring enforcement it was de facto tacit approval, for I dispatched drawings for 32 years of my 41 years of employment without interference. The initial purpose of this blog is to record the language used in my frequent boxcar icon dispatches.

Is anyone else thinking "Portrait of Dorian Grey"?
And a very Happy Turkey Day to you and yours, Colossus!

Oh, THIS is too cool! I can put a real face to that chalk face now. What a kind face you have, sir. :)
